Three-Dimensional Finite Element Analysis of Contact Problem in Dry Friction Clutches

چکیده
We present an investigation through numerical analysis (FEM) of the solution contact problem in friction clutch systems during engagement manoeuver. The case high pressure between sliding elements a system (flywheel, and plate) has been also considered. A finite element model dry (single disc) to estimate distributions under different working conditions developed main findings are discussed. Furthermore, effect modules elasticity (contact stiffness) on distribution mating surfaces was investigated. Also, results encompass deformations contacting for cases. This work could provide fundamental intermediate step obtain partial thermos-elastic order compute thermal-driven stresses automotive clutches brakes conditions.
